As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we at Pass Love Around create and sell hand-made dog bandannas and dog toys, with all of the proceeds going toward the purchase of school supplies for Title 1 elementary schools in Maryland.
"Title 1" is the largest federally funded educational program. The program provides funds to schools located in economically depressed area to help reach the educational goals of the school.
Every year we review a list of all 422 Title 1 elementary schools in Maryland. From that list, we start by focusing on the schools with the highest percentage of students in need. Our goal is to be able to help EVERY Title 1 school.
Pass Love Around started in 2016 by Julia LeHew as her Girl Scout Bronze Award project when she was 11. Her dream was to help elementary school kids receive a better education if their parents couldn't afford the tools they needed to succeed. She made her first batch of dog toys and dog bandannas in spring, 2016. The picture above is from our first booth.
Our goal every year is to raise more money to purchase more school supplies and to help more Title 1 school children all across America receive the school supplies the need for school.
The Community Foundation of Carroll County holds our 501(c)(3) nonprofit license. Click below to find out more of what they do for the community or to donate to our fund.
